Was I set up?

A meeting was set up to discuss marriage between Chrystal and me, such as does one exist. I advised that I can’t meet in the church where Chrystal attends. I confirmed with the President of the Branch and the President of the Stake that Chrystal wouldn’t be there. I was assured that Chrystal had only been attending the church in Clarksville, TN for several months. I showed up for the service and meeting, and lo and behold, Chrystal showed up. As she walked into the side door, I walked out the opposite side door and left. Only the Stake President and the Branch President, President Wright, knew that I was going to attend that meeting. Why did Chrystal forgo going to church in Clarksville, TN as usual and show up, an hour away, in Princeton, KY.?

I hope things will get better. Right now, I just hope I wasn’t set up.
