Multiple Personalities

Dissociative Identity Disorder

I’ve got a question for any psychotherapist reading this. Is there any such thing as a hybrid personality? During the audio recordings below that stem from a single incident. Chrystal exhibited traits from her normal self and slight traits from her alternate.

I'm not sleeping with you

Chrystal has multiple personalities. Her alternate personality tells me things that she wouldn’t. Later Chrystal accuses me of eavesdropping. When in reality either her alternate told me or otherwise she types on her phone while sitting right next to me, not understanding that her poor eyesight makes her texting larger than she realizes.

Toe Socks and Silk Gloves

Chrystal calls her Neurological episodes anxiety attacks. However, it is often far more. I’ve seen her lay in bed while tucking the blanket between her body parts and holding her feet and hands in the air while spreading her fingers and toes apart so much it had to hurt. I’ve also seen those episodes affect her memory in major ways. Following these episode she has also exhibited an alternate personality.

She put pills in his food

All three of the audio recordings came from one recording taken while we were home. Chrystal’s index fingers were waving similar to what her alternate personality is apt to do. Her voice in the recording, “I’m not sleeping with you”. Is similar to her alternate’s personality. Her alternate’s tendency to tell me things that Chrystal wouldn’t, is somewhat present in, “She put pills in his food.”

Chrystal’s other personality is calm more, “Frank”. And a reminder that Chrystal’s bi-polar… prevents me from holding a grudge that I would have otherwise called a relationship off, immediately.
